Who am I?
Currently, I serve as a multimedia journalist for Story Maps at Esri. I've worked in marketing and communications for the African Wildlife Foundation and the U.S. Green Building Council, and have completed an internship with USAID.
I earned my undergraduate degree from William Smith College, where I double majored in Political Science and International Relations with a minor in Studio Art. The core of my studies focused on social movements, particularly in Central, East and Southern Africa. I've traveled to Africa four times—visiting Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and Zambia—and have also spent time in Brazil and Thailand.
I have an awesome dog, an incredibly cool cat and a very real addiction to coffee. I love all things visual-storytelling, and hope to one day look back on a long career of doing just that. Check out my résumé if you'd like to get a better sense of what I'm about!
